Karl Strauss’ newest brewery-restaurant location in 4S Ranch puts a contemporary spin on the traditional beer brand with a metro loft ambiance incorporated throughout the modern space. Large glass windows provide passersby with a full view of the microbrewery’s 7-barrel brew house, which exposes a maze of metal, raw stone, concrete and reclaimed wood that bring the brewery’s décor together. Large roll-up style garage doors brighten up the dining space with natural sunlight while also letting patrons get a peek at the outdoors. The bar features 12 craft beers on tap and a full lineup of spirits from a custom-built concrete bar that is featured front and center in the brewery. Karl Strauss Brewing Company in 4S Ranch is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Brewery tours are also available by appointment.
