Drink Beer at Mehana Brewing Company, Hilo, Hawaii
Mehana and Hawai'i Nui Brewing are brewers of authentic, Island style, small batch craft beers. It is the only brewery in Hawai'i that brews and bottles in the same location. Hawai'i Nui Brewing is the parent company of Mehana Brewing. Both brands offer award winning beers. Mehana's Mauna Kea Pale Ale won a silver medal (in the American Pale Ale category) at the 2010 US Open Beer Championship and Hawaii Nui Brewing's Hapa Brown Ale has won an international and national award. In 2010 it won a silver medal at the World Beer Cup and it also won a gold medal at the 2010 US Open Beer Championship in the American Brown Ale category.
