Not content to serve up traditional beer and greasy pub fare, Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in Escondido proudly pours craft brews with big character and dishes out world-inspired artisan fare using only the freshest locally-grown and small farm ingredients. Stone’s gourmet fare and famously flavorful, aggressively hopped brews can be enjoyed on the brewery’s beautiful open-air patio, in its modern and rustic restaurant interior, or while strolling among native plants in the one-acre organic beer garden. With 36 craft and specialty beers on tap, there’s no shortage of flavorful brews to choose from. What you won’t find on tap, however, is what Stone’s co-founder Greg Koch dubs “fizzy yellow beer”. Among the big bold brews that can be found at the brewery include the famously popular Stone IPA, Arrogant Bastard and Stone Levitation. The brewery is open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Brewery tours are available Monday through Friday at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday on the hour from noon to 6 p.m.
