Thorn Street Brewery in North Park has a mission to revive the neighborhood brewery of old back to its glory days by connecting the community through high quality craft beer. The brewery is reminiscent of times past when the local brewpub served as a meeting ground to discuss politics, relax after a hard day’s work, or meet friends and family over refreshing pints of beer. The community hub welcomes all mix of local residents and community members to walk or ride their bikes down to their neighborhood brewery to get a taste of the day’s craft brews among friends. Using only the freshest, purest ingredients they can get their hands on, while shaking up the Bavarian beer purity law of 1516 by infusing natural flavorful additives like honey, coriander, orange peel, vanilla, coffee, chili or chocolate in to their beer. Thorn Street Brewery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4-10 p.m., Friday from 2-11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
