Drive 59 Mile Scenic Drive, San Diego, California

If visiting San Diego for a short time and need to see the major sites in a day, then this is the drive for you. San Diego's 59-mile scenic drive loops its way through the city's charming neighborhoods and reveals our unique attractions and natural wonders. It's marked for easy reference every quarter of a mile by blue and yellow signage that includes a while seagull in the center. The drive takes about three hours, though some people take a day or two to complete it, making time to relax and make leisurely stops at various destinations. Grab a map at the International Visitor Information Center in the Embarcadero. Located at 1140 North Harbor Drive (in front of the B Street Cruise Ship Terminal), the Visitor Center is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM October through May.
