Dubbing itself as San Diego’s original “high class dive bar”, this unpretentious watering hole has been a haven for beer lovers of all types since its opening in 2006. High Dive’s full rotating tap and cask list houses a few longstanding San Diego favorites like AleSmith, Ballast Point, Lost Abbey, Stone and Coronado brews, as well as a few newbies from Societe and Ironfire Breweries. Parents are invited to bring the kids and challenge them to a game of pinball or play their favorite song on the jukebox, while the adults enjoy mouthwatering craft brews, lively conversation and fresh fare on High Dive’s airy outdoor patio or inside the comfortable dining area. High Dive is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
