Since 1997, Pizza Port in Carlsbad has been dishing out a perfect combo of piping hot pizza and cold refreshing craft brew just a few blocks from the beach. The best two seats in the house are on the right side of the bar where the pizza and beer converge and on the sunny patio where your pizza and beer is combined with sunshine and a cool breeze. The Carlsbad pizza pub and craft brewery is helmed by head brewer Mike Aubuchon who churns up some local favorites, including his own hop-heavy “People’s Choice” award-winning “Thruster” Triple IPA. The tasting room features Pizza Port’s own handcrafted house brews alongside a few guest beers and wines from their expansive draft lineup. Next door, guests can peruse even more craft brews from the Pizza Port Bottle Shop, which houses over 600 bottles of beer from all over the world. Pizza Port in Carlsbad is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight
