Eat at NY Pizza Suprema, New York City
NY Pizza Suprema started selling slices for 5 cents each in 1964. Taking pizza making very seriously here using three different sauces for the different pizzas. One for the regular cheese with toppings, one for the Marinara, Sicilian/Up side down pizza and one for the Fresh Mozzarella with Basil pizza. Also, making their own fresh Mozzarella cheese.
For years and years, Joe the creator of NY Pizza Suprema would only serve cheese slices. Son finally convienced Dad in 1988 to start adding toppings.
