See the Desfile de Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead Parade). La Llorona boat ride in Xochimilco about the legend of La Llorona and Mexico’s history. Get a Catrin face paint and march in the Mega Proseción de las Catrinas. Help contribute to a ofrenda by painting a calavera (sugar skull). Visit local cemeteries an experience the true culture of Día de los Muertos (maybe visit Mixquic cemetery). Spend time with families and share in the traditions of la ofrenda, telling stories of the deceased, singing songs to the deceased, eating pan de muerto, decorating graves, cooking food for the deceased, and eating a lot of food.
