Arcipelago di La Maddalena National Park is a geomarine national park on the north coast of Sardinia that includes a beautiful set of islands with a large number of great beaches and nice rock formations. La Maddalena has a relax atmosphere and lovely people with wonderful views to its other islands in the archepelago. The park covers an area on land and sea of over 12,000 hectares and 180 kilometers of coasts. This region includes all the islands and islets within the territory of the Municipality of La Maddalena, Italy. The territory of the National Park will also represent an important part of the Bocche di Bonifacio international marine park which will soon be established. Ferries run frequently between Palau and Isola Maddalena. There are different companies that go back and forth between Palau and Maddalena and there are large price differences between the companies.
