Baja's East Cape, Mexico
View Original Description
The East Cape of the Baja Peninsula, in Baja California Sur, where the vast Pacific Ocean merges with the Sea of Cortez, is famous for it's sportfishing, Kite boarding and sailing.
Fishing season will be heating up for the summer along the East Cape and there are plenty of activities in the region for the whole family to enjoy. Get ready for beautiful sunrises over the Sea of Cortez and enjoying days full of fresh fish tacos and cold beers with your toes in the sand. Just inland, the lush Sierra de la Laguna mountains are home to hiking adventures, hot springs, and natural pools and waterfalls.
There are a few options for natural hot springs in the area, but if you have a four-wheel drive vehicle, The Santa Rita hot springs are our favorite.
Other activities include whale-watching, horseback riding in the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and ATV riding on endless miles of pristine Sea of Cortez beaches.
