Parque La Huasteca is a municipal park in Monterrey, Mexico and also the first established climbing area, only 20 minutes from the city center. With nearly 300 bolted routes with grades from 5.4 to 5.14, it is the favorite place for weekend climbers.
The Cañon de la Huasteca is rich in natural beauty: a mountain ravine of striking limestone rock formations and magnificent desert landscapes. Come here to enjoy scenic walks and picnics, superb photography opportunities and outdoor adventures. The canyon forms part of the sprawling Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey, a national park home to forest-covered valleys, mountains, waterfalls and colorful fauna and flora.
