Glacier Alley, Beagle Channel, Chile
View Original Description
Glacier Alley is an appropriately named part of the Beagle Channel that is ome to six rather sizable glaciers in the space of an hour and a half of cruising along the channel. The glaciers are all named (in Spanish) after countries, and starting from the west are the Espana Glacier, Romanche Glacier, Alemania Glacier and Francia Glacier. The bays beneath these glaciers are typically full of floating bergie bits.
