Explore Hill-Annex Mine State Park, Minnesota
Hill-Annex Mine State Park in Minnesota, interpreting the open-pit mining heritage of the Mesabi Range.
There are no hiking trails here but in the summer they have fossil searching tours and a cool old building with exhibits about the geology and history of the place.
The park is located in the city of Marble, and just outside the adjacent city of Calumet, both in Itasca County, Minnesota.
