Kouchibouguac National Park on the coast of New Brunswick is a fascinating mosaic of bogs, salt marshes, tidal rivers, sparkling freshwater systems, sheltered lagoons, abandoned fields and tall forests that has become a favorite cycling destination in Atlantic Canada. Flat gravel paths make it easy to explore a nice collection of scenic cycling loops from 9 to 17 miles long that take in Kouchibouguac’s beautiful coastal landscape. Visitors also enjoy swimming at the park’s many outstanding beaches and relaxing at night under spectacular stars. The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada has designated Kouchibouguac as a Dark Sky Preserve.
