Lake McKenzie (Boorangoora) is a perched lake on Fraser Island in Queensland, Australia. The lake is considered the jewel of Fraser Island with its crystal blue waters and white sands. The area is one of the most popular on the island so can get crowded during the middle of the day in peak season.
The lake is located inland from the small town of Eurong and 6.2 km southeast of Kingfisher Resort. It is 1200 meters long and up to 930 meters wide. It is approxmately 80 hectares in area. The sands around the lake are composed of pure, white silica and the water in the lake is also so pure it is unsuitable for many species.
Facilities for visitors around the lake include camping and picnic areas as well as toilets and barbecues.
