Myall Lakes National Park is a national park in New South Wales, Australia, 188 kilometres (117 mi) northeast of Sydney. It surrounds the scenic Myall Lakes, and includes Broughton Island. The park is north of Newcastle and offers great walking, kayaking and fishing opportunities. The park also has more than 40kms of beaches that offer some good swimming and surfing spots.
Be sure to check out the Grandis; a 76 metre high flooded gum that is one of the tallest trees in the state. You’ll find it in the Grandis picnic area north east of Bulahdelah.
