Explore Patagonia, Argentina

Located in Argentina and Chile, Patagonia is strikingly beautiful and well worth taking the time to visit. Filled with natural beauty and a variety of climates it is unlike any other place in the world. The landscape is filled with diversity, so when visiting there are an array of places to explore including ice fields, glaciers, lakes, mountains, ancient forests, national parks, sleepy beach towns, and even wine country. Patagonia is truly an adventurer’s paradise. While there’s not much Patagonia doesn’t offer perhaps its most unique feature is how it can feel like the remotest place on earth. In fact, Ushuaia in Patagonia calls itself the “end of the world.” This is probably because it’s the closest city to Antartica and getting to and from it isn’t easy. When planning a trip to Antartica be sure to add a couple of days for exploring Ushuia. While there, be sure to take a boat ride in Beagle Channel as it offers beautiful views of the city.
