Explore Playa Ligüi, Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico
Playa Ligüi is off Highway One about 21 miles (30 mins) south of Loreto, just before the highway climbs into the Sierra la Giganta mountains. The beach features dramatic rock formations and clear blue waters. It's known as a spot where local fishermen embark and disembark. It is a great site for paddling, as well as swimming and snorkeling.
1 km from the Ligui town where there's a convenience store.
Mosquitoes might pay a visit after sunset, so bring some biodegradable bug spray just in case.
