Fly in a Blimp

Fly in a blimp, or non-rigid airship. For almost 80 years, Goodyear blimps have adorned the skies as very visible corporate symbols of the tire and rubber company. Now days you can find many different blimps over all types of sporting events around the world. Different companies will have different prices and some cannot charge at all since they use the blimp for promotional purposes.Rides on the Goodyear blimps are available at the invitation of the company only. Most of the lucky riders are Goodyear customers, winners of local charity auctions, local dignitaries, or members of the press. If you are at an airport and happen to see a blimp tied to the tethering post go and talk with the person in charge. Request a tour and explain you would like t to take a ride if possible. In some cases they will take you up for a ride with them, but it’s all up to the pilot and company procedures. All they can tell you is no.
