Paris has a number of very famous cheese shops, this relatively small shop in the Place Maubert stands up to the very best. Fromagerie Laurent Dubois opens out onto the street and has a neat, sparse selection of cheeses that makes choosing just a little bit easier. They like to incorporate different things into their cheeses with excellent taste: Brie with walnuts, goat cheese with quince, another goat cheese with honey and pistachios. Great service with the staff willing to let you sample their cheeses and speaking a little english if needed.
