Looking to ski all year? It’s entirely possible especially with destinations like Chile in the southern hemisphere. Just imagine spending time during June through October shredding through pristine powder in the Andes Mountains. Getting there is half the fun when you board a helicopter and get dropped off with a guide into thousands of vertical feet of untouched champagne powder. The scenery seen skiing or boarding through the mountains in Chile may make you feel like your in the Alps, but the overall experience is unlike other heli-skiing or heli-boarding trip offered around the globe. Plenty of companies in Santiago, Chile offer packages that include accommodations. There are also a few other destinations in Chile closer to the border of Argentina offering heli-skiing adventures. Packages are typically for three days to a week and other activities are offered, as well.
