Golf The Cascades at Soma Bay, Hurghada, Egypt
The Cascades is Soma Bay's Golf and Country Club is one of Egypt's most stunning desert links-style golf courses. The spectacular 18 hole, Par 72 championship golf course was designed by golfing legend, Gary Player. It was recently ranked the best golf course in the world outside of Europe for the third year in a row by the readers of "Golf Journal."
The 18 hole, par 72 course has lush green fairways that contrast dramatically with the rugged desert and the clear blue waters of the surrounding sea. The cource includes the Red Sea on five holes, and a series of potentially problematic man-made lakes on four other holes.
