Hike Cathedral in the Desert, Lake Powell, Utah

Cathedral in the Desert is a stunning site located in the heart of Glen Canyon. The main cathedral is currently buried around 100 feet under the flood-waters of Lake Powell reservoir. The last time Lake Powell water was low enough to view this magnificent setting was in 2005. However, the higher lake levels allow hiking access into the upper chamber of the Cathedral.
