Hike Culp Valley Loop (Culp Valley Overlook and Peña Springs), Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California
The Culp Valley Loop trail starts at the Culp Valley Primitive Camp which is located off S22, just inside the west entrance of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The hike goes to the Culp Valley Overlook and Peña Springs.
This 2 mile loop leads to a grand overlook right at the edge of the mountains, 2,500 feet above Borrego Springs and the desert.
It's only a 1/2 mile to the lookout and back from the campground.
