Hike Ding And Dang Slot Canyons, San Rafael Swell, Utah
Ding and Dang canyons offer a fun 6-mile scramble through the V-shaped gaps eroded in varied, undulating rock. It's neighbors to the extremely popular Bell and Little Wild Horse canyons, but less traveled.
There is an excellent dispersed camping options along access roads.
It's possible to bring dogs along for the Ding portion of the hike, but getting them down Dang can be more difficult. Don't attempt Dang with dogs unless you have a harness for them and the knowledge of how to lower them down the many drops safely.
