Hike Doi Inthanon Summit, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand of elevation of over 2500 metres. The hike to reach it is only 3km but takes 2 to 4 hours to complete, depending on pace. Most of the trail leads through dense forest where many kinds of birds can be heard but difficult to see. It's recommended to hire a guide from local tribes who will provide you many useful information about the area.
