Hike Gould Mine Loop Trail, Saguaro National Park, Arizona
Gould Mine Trailhead is located at the King Canyon parking area in Saguaro National Park. Take Gould Mine Trail until it reaches Sendero Esperanza Trail. The mine is just west of this merge. These are mine tailings from an abandoned copper mine that was in operation from 1906 to 1911, producing 45,000 pounds of copper.
After visiting the mine head east on Sendero Esperanza Trail and return on King Canyon Trail back to the trailhead.
