Hike
Hidden Lake Trail, Glacier National Park, Montana
View Original Description
The hike to Hidden Lake at Glacier National Park in Montana is one of the great hiles in the park. Herd of bighorn sheep and mountain goats are often hanging out right along the trail. The view of the lake from the lookout is really awe inspiring and the trail down to the lake was worth the extra effort climbing back up.
The Hidden Lake overlook is a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) hike from Logan Pass and the lakeshore adding another 1.5 miles (2.4 km) one way. The hike take about an hour.
Make sure to bring your fishing pole since catching 20-inch fish is common.
