When floating down the Colorado River, make sure to stop at Kanab Canyon, at mile 144, and hike in.
There’s a huge alcove three miles up the canyon. Hike another half mile up and turn right into the slot canyon that enters from the east, and walk another half mile.
The 100-foot Whispering Falls at the end of the canyon tumbling into a 15-foot-deep swimming hole.
There is also a slot canyon called Jumpup Canyon, a tributary of Kanab Canyon.
