Want incredible views of Zion Canyon without a strenuous hike? Consider the moderate Kayenta Trail! Kayenta Trailhead is at The Grotto in Zion National Park. It's an unpaved climb to the Emerald Pools. Connects The Grotto to the Emerald Pools Trails. Moderate drop-offs along the trail.
From The Grotto, the trail climbs 150 feet and offers beautiful views of Zion Canyon. You can combine the 1.0-mile Kayenta Trail with the 0.6-mile Lower Emerald Pool Trail to end at the Zion Lodge. The Kayenta Trail has limited shade, so hike in the morning or after the sun has disappeared below the cliffs in the evening.
