Hike Kipukapuaulu Loop Trail, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Kipukapuaulu Loop Trail is a 1.2 mile trail in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The trail snakes through some of the area's older forests, which are surrounded by lava flows from Mauna Loa volcano.
Many varieties of birds serenade visitors, which explains the area’s nickname, Bird Park.
