Hike
Komo Point Trail, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
View Original Description
The Komo Point Trail is a 5.2 mile hiking trail located on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park off Cape Royal Road.
The trail can be obscure in a few places, it starts fairly well defined but then the trail becomes a little challenging to follow. About 2/3 of the way along the trail it forks. The left fork leads to Ariel Point and the right fork is the continuation of the Komo Point Trail.
The ball is a reference point used by Bradford Washburn during aerial photography used to map the Grand Canyon.
