The west end of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail extends from the Elowah Falls trailhead at John B. Yeon State Scenic Corridor to Cascade Locks, and passes great views of the Columbia River and several waterfalls. This stretch of the Historic Highway State Trail is universally accessible. It can be accessed at the following trailheads, listed here from west to east:
Toothrock Trailhead
Eagle Creek Day-use Area (Note: this site is managed by the U.S. Forest Service and parking here requires their Northwest Forest Pass)
Bridge of the Gods Trailhead in Cascade Locks
Dogs are allowed on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail, but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
