Hike
Bell Rock Pathway Trail, Sedona, Arizona
View Original Description
Bell Rock Trail (Bell Rock Pathway) is a moderate 4 mile loop trail located south of Sedona, Arizona off Hwy 179. Maybe the most photographed of the Red Rock in Sedona. Stop and hike around, climb up on part of the rock. There are two parking lots which you can use to hike this trail. One is South of Bell Rock, next to Oak Creek Village, the other is just north of Bell Rock (towards Sedona).
Bell Rock is the site of what has been described as the most powerful Vortex in Sedona that combines the energy forces of the masculine, feminine and yin/yang into one dynamic spiraling mystical force field with the ever-present twisted junipers laying testament to the energy in evidence.
Trail goes completely around the rock, but you aren't allowed to ride the highest altitute piece. Everything above 4500' is designated as Scenic Wilderness -- no bikes allowed.
This large parking lot is located east of the trailhead and you will need a “red rock pass” to park here, which is strictly enforced.
