Hike Palm View Peak Trail, California
Palm View Peak Trail is a 9 mile out and back (2,800 elevation gain) trail located near Mountain Center, California. Not sure why the name since there are no views from the "peak" and no sign of palms, but great views along the hike.
The trail either starts at Apple Canyon Road for the east endpoint of the trail or at Hurkey Creek Campground, which requires a day pass to park and hike from there.
The trail is rated as difficult and primarily used for hiking. Dogs are allowed on the trail.
