Hike
Peekaboo Trail, Canyonlands National Park, Utah
View Original Description
Peekaboo Trail is a 10 mile (16.5 km) round-trip hike in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park that includes slick rock hiking, colorful canyons, great panorama views, and pictographs. The trail goes between the Squaw Flat Campground and the Peekaboo Campground and crosses both Squaw and Lost canyons. Most visitors do this as an out-and-back hike from Squaw Flat. But Peekaboo Campground is a 4WD vehicle accessible campsite.
Along the hike there are two ladder along a large drop from one slick rock to another but the overall climb is pretty easy.
Make sure you start early to avoid the heat of the day. Make sure to bring plenty of water.
