Hike Satwiwa Loop Trail, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, California
Stroll through the grasslands and chaparral of the Satwiwa Native American Indian Natural Area. This beautiful meadow, with Mount Boney set as a dramatic backdrop, was designated for the preservation and celebration of Native American cultures.
Trailhead is at Rancho Sierra Vista / Satwiwa. The main parking lot is open from 8:00 AM to sunset. You may still visit if the gate is closed (parking is available in front of the gate). Parking is available any time at the Wendy Trailhead.
Restrooms and water fountains are located by main parking lot and by the Satwiwa Culture Center.
