Hike Bay of Fires, Tasmania, Australia

Hike the remote landscape and breathtaking beaches along the East Coast of Tasmania exploring the Bay of Fires. This 16 miles, 4 days walk will be on soft sandy beaches, surreal rock formations and coves. The Bay of Fires walk is a four-day guided trip; you can’t do it solo (there is no water on the route). After a 5.5 mile walk on the first day you will arrive at the routic permanent camp at Forester Beach. The second, longer day finishes at the architecturally striking Bay of Fires Lodge. The tird day is rewarded with time to explore the stunning Bay of Fires coast. Hikers can kayak the Ansons River for a deversion. The best time to go along the beach route is October to May.
