Hike The Maze, Lake Mead, Nevada
The Maze trailhead is located at mile marker 14 on Northshore Road. Be very cautious with parking.
Please stay off the fragile soil on the hillsides. Desert soils are very fragile and some are actually alive - cryptogamic soils (http://www.soilcrust.org/). The soils hold seed for future plants and protect the fragile surface of the desert.
