Hike to Lanikai Pillboxes (Kaiwa Ridge Trail), Oahu, Hawaii
The hike to the Lanikai Pillbox Hike along the Kaiwa Ridge Trail is one of the great hikes on Oahu - but alo very popular/crowded at times. The intermediate hike is above Lanikai Beach, rewarding hikers with some of the best vistas of Oahu’s windward side.
It's a 1.6 mile moderate hike out and back trail located off Kaelepulu Dr in Kailua. Kaiwa Ridge Trail also has a trailhead off Kamahele St in Kailua.
