Hike to Monastery Katholiko (St John the Hermit Church), Crete, Greece
Monastery Katholiko is considered to be the oldest monatry in Crete. The trailhead is located at Gouverneto Monastery on the north side of Akrotiri in Chania. Ut was founded during the 11th century by St. John the Hermit who loved in a cave near the monastery.
There is no water anywhere along the trail so bring enough water.
