Hike to The Grotto & Sheep Hole Oasis, Mecca Hills, California
This is around 7.6 mile roundtrip hike to access The Grotto in Mecca Hills. Hikers will pass Sheep Hole Oasis and Hidden Spring along the way to The Grotto.
Sheep Hole Oasis is a 3 palm oasis located in Mecca Hills. It's about a mile roundtrip from Box Canyon Road.
Take a flash light for the Grotto is it is completely dark in a few places. There are a few very narrow sections and some crawling is required.
For a longer hike head south when exiting the other end of grotto and come back through the next canyon that also has a palm oasis. This canyon ends up back at the wash leading to The Grotto.
