Hike to Waiakalua Beach, Kauai
Waiakalua Beach is a popular fishing beach on the north shore of Kauai. It's made up of two beaches, Waiakalua Iki Beach and Waiakalua Nui Beach. A rocky point separates them. Snorkeling is possible here, but only when the ocean is calm.
The hike down to the beach is over pretty steep trail and over small boulders for maybe twenty yards. It's worth it to have the beautiful beach largely to yourself.
