Hold
Koala Bears in Australia
View Original Description
Holding a koala bear in Australia is illegal in all states except Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia. Queensland is the nation’s koala-cuddling capital. However, there are a few sanctuaries and wildlife parks throughout the country were you can get close or even touch a koala.
Idealy you can even see them in the wild, which is way better than any wildlife park.
Queensland:
Australia Zoo
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
South Australia:
Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
Gorge Wildlife Park
