Attend Islay Festival of Malt and Music (Islay Whisky Festival), Scotland
The annual whisky festival on the Isle of Islay named Fèis Ìle (Gaelic for Islay Festival, pronounced 'fay-sh ee-le'). The week long festival takes place last week of May and was founded in 1986 to celebrate the heritage and culture of Isle of Islay and to provide a pan cultural and activity based series of events.
For the last number of years all of the Islay distilleries have held open days throughout the week of the festival, adding to the mix!
