Kiteboarding at Bar al Hikman, Oman
Bar al Hikman has one of the longest natural sand bars in the Middle East. Make sure to know the tides and season is important.
It's around 40 minutes from the main village in Mahoot and six hours from Muscat.
The road to Bar al Hikman is not paved and make sure you stay on the hard pack road - getting off it often leads to getting stuck in the soft sand. There are no permanent fixtures on the beach. So bring camping gear and provisions.
