An unforgettable Luau presented on the Big Island, the Legends of Hawaii Luau is staged at the Hilton Waikaloa Village’s Kamehameha Court in the middle of an oasis of coconut palms and rich island flora with the dramatic oceanscape as a backdrop. This dinner and show is entertaining for guests of all ages. The evening starts with interactive demonstrations and Polynesian tattoo artists. Guests then enjoy exotic Polynesian dances and music from the Pacific Rim, highlighted by an expansive Waikoloa Luau buffet including the experience of the traditional imu presentation, the native Hawaiian underground oven, featuring roasted kalua pig and many tasty island favorites such as lomi lomi salmon, poke and charbroiled pulehu beef with teriyaki sauce. The sampling of island foods is perfectly accompanied by Hawaiian and Pacific island acts performed by professionals; a South Pacific journey of song and dance that includes the legendary Samoan fire knife dance
