Live in a Foreign Country
The desire to live in a country other than your own can be fulfilled with a little research, an open mind and a commitment to make it happen. Whether for six months or the rest of your life, living in a foreign country can provide for experiences, adventures and relationships that may not be possible where you currently reside. Once you have selected the country that you want to be your new home, be sure to study the immigration and visa requirements, the employment restrictions and basic communication skills. Come to understand about the adjustments you will need to make to your wardrobe so you don’t look like a foreigner in your new home; know what weather to expect and be prepared. Familiarize yourself with the available modes of transportation and other survival skills that will be required in your new country of residence. Your desire to live in a foreign country will most assuredly reward you with rich experiences and many unplanned adventures.
