Mountain Bike
Sellaronda, Dolomites, Italy
View Original Description
The Sellaronda (Sella Ronda) is a mountain bike trail around the Sella group in the Italina Dolomites. The same trails are a ski circuit during the winter.
The mountain bike circuit is 60km in circumference. With trails, roads and ski pistes around it, it is the ideal loop. For the mountain biker, it can be either a day spent downhilling, or an enduro marathon day.
Getting on the circuit is easy by following the roads that take you to one of the four villages around the Sella mountain: Selva di Val Gardena, Corvara, Canazei, Arabba.
The Sella massif lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. It can be driven around by car crossing the Campolongo Pass, Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, and Gardena Pass.
